Want to speed up your note-taking process? Who doesn’t?
Most of us speak faster than we can type, and that’s precisely why you should use Noted’s Dictation feature to convert speech to text in real-time, which helps you to work faster and take more concise notes.
To start dictating notes, simply select Dictation (the 🎙️ microphone icon) on the Editor toolbar and start speaking into your device – and we’ll take care of everything!
Noted’s Dictation uses speech recognition, so the results are best when it’s used with your own voice.
Transcribe Audio Notes Using Dictation
Use Dictation to transcribe audio recordings on iOS:
- Create a new note.
- Tap the soundwave+ icon next to the Record button, and browse to import the audio file into the note.
- Activate Dictation and start playing the audio to transcribe.
Note that the results may not be as accurate compared to you speaking directly into the microphone.
