Noted is a note-taking app that records audio while you type. It links every line you write to the moment it was said, so you never have to scrub through a recording to find something.
What can Noted do?
- Notes linked to audio: every line is timestamped to the recording. Tap it to play from that moment.
- #TimeTags: mark key moments as you go, then jump to them or find them across notes in the Tags tab.
- Transcription: turn a recording into text on your device, afterwards or live while you record.
- Summaries and Ask AI: get the key points of a note, or ask questions about it.
- Everywhere you work: iPhone, iPad, Mac and Vision Pro, synced with iCloud. Apple Watch records from your wrist and sends recordings to your iPhone.
How do I start?
- Tap New note.
- Tap Record at the top of the note.
- Type as you listen. Your notes are timestamped automatically.

What are the demo notes?
New installs include a Getting Started notebook with two demo notes. They have real recordings, timestamps and #TimeTags, so you can try every feature before recording your own.
