- How do I share my Noted+ subscription with family? Yes. A yearly Noted+ subscription can be shared with up to five people in your Family Sharing group. Turn on Share with Family for Noted under Subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
- How does Noted work? Noted records audio while you type and timestamps every line to the recording. Tap a line or a #TimeTag later to hear exactly what was said at that moment. It runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Vision Pro and syncs through iCloud; Apple Watch records and sends recordings to your iPhone.
- How do I use #TimeTag in Noted? While recording, tap the # button on the toolbar or type # followed by a word to drop a #TimeTag at that moment. Tap the tag later to play the recording from that point, and open the Tags tab to see every note that uses it.
- What keyboard shortcuts does Noted support? Yes, on Mac and on iPad with an external keyboard: ⇧⌘Space to record, play and pause, ⌥⌘3 to add a #TimeTag, ⌘B/⌘I/⌘U for formatting and ⌘F to search. Hold ⌘ on the iPad to see the full list.
- How do I set up themes, fonts and date formats? Themes, fonts and date formats are under Settings on iOS and macOS. Pick a space theme, change the editor font and size, and choose how dates appear in your notes; each choice syncs across your devices.
- What is a Timestamp? A timestamp links a word to the exact moment in the recording it was typed. Tap any timestamp to play the audio from that point; touch and hold one to edit or remove it.
